Tickets and support on BookMyHost

Support at BookMyHost runs through tickets in the panel, so every message about your account is kept in one place. This guide shows how to open a ticket, what to include and how to follow it.

Updated · Prices read live from the BookMyHost Cloud rate card, in INR, excluding GST.

Open a ticket

Open Tickets in the panel and start a new ticket. Add a short subject, choose a priority of Low, Normal or High, describe the issue and attach files such as screenshots.

  1. Describe what happened

Say what you did, what you expected and any error message, and name the server or invoice involved.

  2. Pick a priority

Use High for an outage. Normal fits most questions.

  3. Attach evidence

A screenshot of the error or the payment usually saves a round trip.

Follow and reply

Each ticket has a number and a thread. Replies from our team appear in the thread, and you can answer from the same page with attachments. Close a ticket from its page when the problem is solved; you can open a new one at any time.

Other ways to reach us

The contact page lists the other channels. Payment and account questions are best raised as a ticket so the thread stays with your account.

Before you open one

For a server that does not respond, check the live status on the server page, try the browser console and look at Activity for recent actions. For a payment, check Billing for the receipt first.
