Does any of my data leave India?

What does CERT-In compliance mean for me as a customer?
Indian cloud providers must verify customers (eKYC at signup), retain logs and report incidents under the CERT-In directions. You get a verified, abuse-resistant neighbourhood and a provider that responds to Indian law-enforcement and regulators directly.
Why does it matter who owns the network?
A provider that controls its own autonomous system decides its own routing, peering and abuse handling. Your traffic is not subject to another company's policy changes, and problems are fixed by the people who run the routers.
