S3-compatible object storage in India, priced per GB
Buckets for backups, media and app data, stored in our Noida data centre. Point the AWS CLI, an AWS SDK, rclone or restic at https://s3.bookmyhost.com and keep the code you have. ₹1.05 per GB a month on a monthly plan, and the first 100 GB of pay-as-you-go storage is free every month. Prices exclude 18% GST.
The S3 API you already use
Any S3 client that takes a custom endpoint works: set https://s3.bookmyhost.com, path-style addressing and region us-east-1. Large files upload in parts (multipart).
Data stays in India
Objects are stored in our data centre in Noida (Delhi NCR). Buckets are private; each bucket has its own access key, which you can replace from the panel at any time.
Rupee pricing, GST invoice
Pay by the hour for the data you actually store, or a monthly plan for a fixed bucket size. Every invoice is a GST tax invoice you can claim input credit on.
File manager in the panel
Browse a bucket, upload files (large ones in parts), create folders, download and delete objects from the browser, without installing a client.
Next to your servers
Transfer between your cloud servers and your buckets stays inside our network and is free. The rate card has no per-GB transfer line.
Built for backups
Send database dumps, server backups and restic or rclone repositories off the server they protect, to storage you can reach from anywhere.
Two ways to pay for storage
Same storage, same endpoint. Sizes come in steps of 100 GB. Prices exclude GST.
Pay-as-you-go
₹1.50 per GB a month
- Metered every hour at ₹0.002 per GB, on the data actually stored, not the bucket size
- The first 100 GB each month is free, across all your pay-as-you-go buckets
- The bucket size you pick is the most it can hold
- How every bucket created in the panel starts
Monthly plan
₹1.05 per GB a month
- 30% below the pay-as-you-go rate
- A fixed price for the whole bucket size, in steps of 100 GB
- Suits steady data you keep for months, such as backups and archives
- To move a bucket to a monthly plan, ask support from the panel

Create a bucket, then connect a client
Sign up, complete the one-time eKYC, then create a bucket under Storage in the panel. It shows the bucket name, the endpoint and the access key; use them like this:
AWS CLI
aws configure set default.s3.addressing_style path
aws s3 cp backup.tar.gz s3://YOUR-BUCKET/ \
--endpoint-url https://s3.bookmyhost.comPython (boto3)
import boto3
s3 = boto3.client("s3",
endpoint_url="https://s3.bookmyhost.com",
aws_access_key_id=KEY,
aws_secret_access_key=SECRET)
s3.upload_file("db.sql.gz", "YOUR-BUCKET", "db.sql.gz")rclone
[bmh]
type = s3
provider = Minio
endpoint = https://s3.bookmyhost.com
access_key_id = KEY
secret_access_key = SECRET
force_path_style = truerestic takes the bucket as s3:https://s3.bookmyhost.com/YOUR-BUCKET; s3cmd needs host_base and host_bucket set to s3.bookmyhost.com.
