What happens
Install starts Odoo and PostgreSQL. Open the address the panel shows: Odoo asks you to create the first database: keep the master password it suggests somewhere safe, then enter your admin email and password, language and country. Do this straight after install. Then install the apps you need (Invoicing, CRM, Inventory) from the Apps menu.

Odoo hosting questions
Is this Odoo Community or Enterprise?
Community, the open-source (LGPL) edition. Enterprise modules need a licence from Odoo S.A. and are not included.
Does it handle Indian GST?
Odoo Community includes Indian localisation modules for the chart of accounts and GST taxes; choose India as the country when you create the database. Check the reports with your CA before you file.
Which plan does it need?
Pro. Odoo and PostgreSQL together need more memory than the 1 GB Starter plan has once a few users are working.
Can Odoo send email?
Outbound SMTP on ports 25, 465 and 587 is blocked on BMH Apps. Use a mail provider that accepts SMTP on port 2525 as Odoo's outgoing mail server.
How does one-click install work?
Choose an app from the store, pick the app server to put it on, and click Install. It gets its own HTTPS address, its passwords are generated for you and shown once, and it is live in a minute or two.
