# BookMyHost rate card: how the prices are built

Prices on BookMyHost are built from a plan ladder, hourly meters and term discounts. This guide explains the pieces and points to the pages that show the exact live prices; every figure below is read from the live price book.

## Plan ladder

VPS plans start from ₹336 per month, or ₹0.66 per hour. Larger plans add vCPU, RAM and NVMe disk; the pricing page lists every size with its hourly, monthly and longer-term price.


## Term discounts

Every term is priced as a discount on the hourly list price:

- Monthly: 30% off the hourly list.
- Quarterly: 33.5% off.
- Six months: 37% off.
- Annually: 44% off.
- Two years: 51% off.
- Three years: 65% off.
- A monthly plan costs less than hourly after about 511 hours (roughly 21 days) of running.

## Hourly billing

Hourly servers are metered against the wallet with a minimum of 1 hour per server. An hourly server is billed per started hour (minimum 1 hour); one hour is reserved from your wallet when you order. A stopped server is still billed for its disk and reserved IP; delete it to stop all charges.


## Extra meters

Beyond the plan, some items are metered separately:

- Windows licence: included (₹0 per core today).
- A powered-off server keeps its disk and IP at ₹0.61 per hour on the smallest plan; a reserved IP is ₹0.50 per hour.
- Build-your-own servers price vCPU, RAM, disk and IPs individually. The build page shows each rate.

## AI tokens

AI Tokens are priced per model by usage, from the same wallet. Each model's input and output rates are listed on the AI API page and in the panel under AI Tokens, so use those pages for the current numbers.

## FAQ

- **Are prices shown with GST?** Rupee prices on the plan tables are exclusive of GST. GST is added on the invoice.
- **How is the monthly price set?** As a discount on the hourly list price, shown per term in this guide.
- **Where are AI token prices?** On the AI API page and under AI Tokens in the panel, per model.
- **Does a powered-off server cost anything?** Its disk and reserved IP are billed at a reduced hourly rate until you terminate it.
