Every cloud server, VPS and managed Kubernetes plan on BookMyHost carries a 7-day money-back guarantee on your first order. This guide explains what it covers, how to claim it from the panel and what happens to the account afterwards. The short version is on the money-back guarantee page.

## What the guarantee is

If your first order is not what you wanted, tell us within 7 days of the first payment and the full amount of that order goes back to the payment method you paid with. We do not deduct the payment-gateway charge or the hours you used inside the window. It is a real refund to UPI, card, net banking or PayPal, not wallet credit.

- Window: 7 days, counted from the first payment, not from deployment.
- Refund: the full first order, including unused wallet balance from that same payment.
- Per customer: one guarantee per person or business, on the first order only.
- Everyone qualifies, in India or outside India; a USD payment goes back to the PayPal account or card it came from.

## Which plans are covered

Covered: every cloud server and VPS plan (Linux, Windows, Forex and Algo, gaming, and custom sizes from the configurator) and managed Kubernetes, on any term including hourly. A monthly, quarterly or yearly payment comes back in full, not only the unused part.

Not covered: S3 object storage, AI API tokens, app hosting and Tally on cloud. If you used any of these inside the window, that usage is deducted from the refund and the rest is returned.

## How to claim it

1. **Save what you need** Download or copy anything you still need from the server; the refund deletes it.
2. **Ask from Billing** In the panel open Billing and choose the money-back guarantee. You can also email support from the email address on your account.
3. **No form, no reason** Nothing to fill in. A line on why you are leaving helps us improve.
4. **Decision within one working day** We confirm the request and send the refund to the original payment method.
5. **Money back in a week** The refund reaches your bank, card, UPI app or PayPal balance in a few working days, depending on the provider.

## What happens to the account

The refund empties the wallet, so every service on the account stops and the servers are deleted. Deleted servers stay in the Server Vault for the usual retention period. The welcome credit and any recharge bonus were tied to that first payment, so they are withdrawn with it. The account and its verification stay valid: you can deploy again later, only the guarantee itself is one per customer.

The GST tax invoice of the first order receives a credit note for the refunded amount, so your books and input credit stay clean. Customers billed in US dollars get a credit note on the USD invoice.

## After the first order

Later top-ups and orders follow the normal refund policy in the terms. Hourly servers are never locked in: stop and delete a server and the wallet is charged only for the hours it ran. See the billing guide for how hourly and term invoices work.

## FAQ

- **Does the clock start at payment or at deployment?** At the first payment. Deploying a day later does not extend the window. The request must reach us within 7 days of that payment.
- **Is the gateway fee deducted?** No. You get back exactly what you paid; the gateway charge and the hours you used are on us.
- **I paid more than the server cost. What comes back?** The whole first payment, including the unused wallet balance from it. Later top-ups follow the normal refund policy.
- **Can I keep the account?** Yes. The account and its eKYC stay valid. Only the guarantee is one per customer, so a second account for the same person or company does not get a new first order.
- **Does it apply to a server built in the configurator?** Yes. Custom sizes from Build a server are cloud servers like any plan and are covered on any term.
- **I am outside India. Does it apply?** Yes. The refund goes back to the PayPal account or card the first order was paid with, in US dollars.
